Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Wraps Up 31st Diploma Final Assessment

Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management has been offering a Diploma in Culinary Arts in collaboration with Culinary Solutions Australia International. On 24th of March 2023, Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management marks the completion of the Diploma in Culinary Arts of the 31st batch.

This year's batch of students successfully graduated from the program after undergoing rigorous training for 9 months and an international internship for 3 months. As part of their final assessment, the students were required to cook a three-course meal consisting of a starter, main course, and dessert, which they presented to Chef Stephan Trion from the affiliated institution, Australian Solutions, for evaluation. The students exhibited impressive skills and expertise in the kitchen while preparing their dishes.

The final assessment was evaluated based on several factors, including food safety, hygiene, recipe, plate presentation, and costing accuracy. Renowned chefs of Nepal, Chef Nabin Lama and Chef Ratna Bahadur Thapa, were also present to evaluate the assessment. The students came up with their own unique dishes and presentation styles. Nine students were awarded bronze medals, three were awarded silver medals, and Resha Prajapati, who scored the highest, was awarded the gold medal.

The Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management aims to produce professional chefs who are job-ready for a successful career in prestigious hotels and restaurants, both locally and internationally.
