707 Students received guardians in National Enrollment Campaign



Kathmandu 6 Jestha: 707 students received guardians in  national enrollment campaign launched by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

Compulsory education and child right branch under Department of education has collected statistics of all 707 Poor, needy, marginalized, disadvantaged and differently abled children who were provided guardianship.

There was involvement of Prime Minister, former Prime Minister, Ministers, members of Constituent Assembly, local representatives in this campaign. “More than 700 students were provided guardianship”, says deputy director Narhari Aryal. “This number can increase, we are in the process of collecting statistics”, he added. He also requested to the people to provide information to the department if there are people who offered guardianship but are missing in the statistics.

Ministry has conducted this campaign with the slogan “Enrollment of a child My social responsibility, guarantee accessibility, and stability in education.”
