100 Dalit students of Jajarkot district have been provided with scholarship. The scholarship was given in a program in collaboration of Nepal Dalit Social Welfare Organization and Save the Children Jajarkot. The chairman of the organization Man Bahadur Sunar stated that the scholarship was provided in order to increase the access of Dalit children to education. The budget was obtained from the interests of the trust worth 1 million USD established by an American citizen Roj McCremac.
A special program was organized in the headquarter Khalanga. The scholarships and awards were provided to the academically bright students by the District Education Officer Lalit Bikram Singh, adviser of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Jajarkot Janak KC and the chairman of the organization Man Bahadur Sunar.
