This is to notify all concerned that the Nepal Health Research Council is now taking the application for its upcoming Capacity Building Workshops for the Fiscal Year 2072/73. 

Therefore, interested candidates, who meet the qualification and criteria for participation, are requested to apply within 30 August 2015 because of limited seats. 

NHRC will conduct One Capacity Building Workshop on on Epidemiological Research with 25 participants on each training.  

Eligibility Criteria for Capacity Building Workshop on on Epidemiological Research

Participants who holds:

  • Masters/Ph.D Degree in  epidemiology, public health, community medicine, tropical medicine, clinical tropical medicine or other Health  Related Sciences and trained in basic epidemiological research study.
  • Have conducted at least one research study as Principal investigator/co-principal investigator/research associates, and
  • Have worked in health related organization/agencies/ institutes etc.

Note: Preference will be given to those currently working in any epidemiological research. 

Documents to be submitted for the entire training workshop

  1. Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  2. Photocopy of Highest Degree Received
  3. Filled up Application Form with recent Photo
  4. Photocopy of Experience Letter
  5. Recommendation Letter from Institute (Who are affiliated with Institution)

Other Terms and Conditions for Types of Training Workshops

  • Fee: Application form fee (Registration fee) for Training Workshop is Rs. 1000.00 per person which will not be refunded.     
  • Selection Process: The participants will be selected on the basis of their need and experience.
  • Same candidate can not apply for more than one Training Workshop in a single fiscal year.
  • All the applications forms submitted before the publication of this notice will be cancelled and need to resubmit for this fiscal year. The forms having not fulfilled the above mentioned criteria will be rejected.
  • 100% attendance is required; otherwise certificate of participation will not be issued.
