Inter-college Basketball Competition by The British College
Starting from the 26th February, The British College will be hosting its first ever Inter College Basketball Tournament.
The TBC Basketball Tournament 2023 is an inter-college boys’ basketball competition that has been organised by the TBC Sports Club, who are seeking to promote the spirit of basketball and strengthen healthy inter-college as well as inter-organisational relations.
Starting from the 26th February, the competition will run until the 4th march, and see 16 different College teams compete for cash prizes, with the winners taking home 50,000 NPR and the Runners Up, 25,000.
The competition will take place on the state of the art TBC Basketball Court and will also feature a unique ‘Five-on-Five’ game which will be played in league-come knockouts format, and will be open only to bachelors students who haven't participated in any national or regional competitions before.
Colleges from across the Valley have been invited to sign up and will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. The fee to register is 10,000 NPR and the deadline is 22nd of February. A press event will be held on the 24th February to announce the teams and sponsors.
