The degree Undergraduate Program in Fashion Technology/ Design has been designed to provide our students with a fundamental and broad understanding of the complexities of different components in Fashion Industry. Exploring in a multi-cultural environment ensures our students to gain insight into diversity and inter-connectivity of all aspects of the Fashion Industry.

On completion of the program the student should be able to:
  • Equip students with knowledge and skills required to face the ever changing fashion industry by providing advanced & comprehensive education in Fashion Designing
  • To make students able for further education (Postgraduates degree in field of fashion
  • To produce skilled human resources in the area of Fashion Technology/Design
  • To address increasing demands the Fashion Industry
  • To develop work skills, Life skills, Core skill and essential skills for Fashion Technology/Design
  • To collect and analyze data for the purpose of resolving issues directly related to Fashion Industry
  • To develop ‘soft skills’

Eligibility

Higher Secondary (+2), A level or Intermediate level qualification in any discipline with minimum 40% aggregate

Admission Criteria

Applications must be made through the application form and are equally welcomed from individual candidates or from those being sponsored by employers. Only complete applications will be considered.

The Registry of the Wigan and Leigh College -India (WLCI) will issue a Letter of Acceptance for successful applicants enrolling and admitting to the respective program.
