Other Services

Classroom

Silkroad International College has well-furnished classrooms with adequate lighting and ventilation system. For the enhanced learning process, classrooms have modern audiovisual aids as per the requirement of the course subject.

Canteen

The canteen serves tasty and hygienic food at a reasonable price. The youthful setting of the canteen encourages healthy discussions during the meal and leisure.

Transportation

Transportation facility is provided to the needy students. This facility will be availed on minimal additional charges.

Library

Since the library is a major resource center from which students can acquire something more than what is taught in the classroom, Silkroad has given due emphasis to its development. A spacious room for the library with an adequate number of text and reference books, along with a wide variety of computer and business magazines and other daily newspapers has been allocated.

Stationery & Photocopy Centre

To help students with the daily printings, photocopies, and stationery, a mini shop is available in the college which will provide theservice at subsidized rates.

Internet

The internet browsing facility with the availability of wireless internet at the College can be entertained.

Computer Lab & Net room

Silkroad has a well-equipped computer room along with an adequate number of computers with access to wireless internet service 24 hours. Full-time instructors are available to provide the necessary support and guidelines to the students. The computer laboratory will be under CCTV surveillance to ensure the safety of the resources.

Auditorium

To host and conduct programs, seminar and workshops Silkroad have its own fully equipped auditorium in the College building itself.

Admission Guidelines

All the interested students can collect the application form from the college for Rs. 500/- (Non-refundable). The students should be filled and submitted with all the complete and accurate information as required. In addition, the following documents should be submitted at the time of submission:

Attested copies of mark sheet and Transcripts,
Migration Certificate (Orginal)
Transfer and Character certificates of each level ofexaminations taken previously (SLC, +2 or equivalent)
Attested copy of Citizenship Certificate or Passport Photographs

Eligibility

Students who have passed +2, Intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% in aggregate or who have secured at least D+ Grade in all subjects of Grade 11 and 12 are eligible to apply at Silkroad International College. Students must pass an entrance test and interview before being eligible to get admitted to Silkroad.

Entrance Test

A student must pass a written examination for admission. The examination will consist of 80 multiple choice questions: and an essay (English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge).

Interview

Students who pass the written examination will have to go through an academic and professional interview as a final step of the admission procedure.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Scholarship Graduating students is not the only aim of Silkroad; the students are firmly supported until they get into a sound profession. Various scholarship schemes are provided to the deserving students.
