Herald offers Bachelor Degrees in IT and Business in direct partnership with the University of Wolverhampton, UK. Programmes that Herald College Kathmandu offers are flexible and have always aimed to foster a broader based knowledge. Herald College Kathmandu offers the BA (Hons) International Business Management and BSc (Hons) in Computer Science qualification from the University of Wolverhampton (WLV) based on a 3+1 model, whereby Herald College Kathmandu students would first take iAcademy’s University Foundation Certification, followed by their Diploma in Business Administration or Diploma in Computing, and then their Advanced Diploma in Business Administration or Advanced Diploma in Computing.
All of the iAcademy’s qualifications have been articulated with advanced standing into the University of Wolverhampton’s BA (Hons) International Business Management degree and BSc (Hons) in Computer Science qualification. Hence, students who successfully complete iAcademy’s Advanced Diploma in Business Administration or Advanced Diploma in Computing would enter the University of Wolverhampton’s BA (Hons) International Business Management and BSc (Hons) in Computer Science programme in the final year of that programme.
1. Direct and Full-time UK University Course
Herald College Kathmandu offers direct degrees in Information Technology and Business. The courses are entirely designed, approved and delivered by the University of Wolverhampton, in association with iAcademy, New Zealand. As this is a direct partnership, there are no credit-transfer hassles. The students can complete their entire Bachelors’ degree at Herald College. Our students get full and complete status of an UK undergraduate.
2. College run by the Pioneers in UK Education
Herald College Kathmandu is being run by a team of national and international academicians who are the pioneers of UK education in Nepal. Islington College, established in 1996 was the first ever college in Nepal to partner with the UK university and has so far produced 3500+ graduates.

We have two intakes i.e. Autumn and Spring intakes. Entry requirements are: NEB 10+2 (any stream) overall aggregate of 55% and above, Year 12 English score 60% and above, and SLC Mathematics score of 50% above, or
2 ‘A’ Level passes with minimum grades A to C or 3 ‘A’ Level passes with minimum grades D and above; and General Paper (A or AS Level) or English (A or AS Level) with Grade E and above.
Applicants who do not meet the above mentioned English requirements can substitute with the following English Tests: IELTS 5.5 and above (minimum score of 5.5 in each component) or Pearson Test of English Score above 47.
University Foundation Certificate Entry Requirements
NEB 10+2 (any stream) total aggregate of 45% and above, and Year 12 English score of 45% and above, or
2 ‘A’ level subject passes, and a pass in General Paper (A or AS Level) or English (A or AS Level) with Grade E and above.
Applicants who do not meet the above mentioned English requirements can substitute with the following English Tests: IELTS 4.5 and above or Pearson Test of English Score above 37.
