Tri Chandra campus, Nepali department honours five retired teachers

Kathmandu:

The Tri-Chandra Campus, Department of Nepali on the eve of the campus golden jubilee today honoured five retired teachers.

Those feted are Tek Prasad Ghimire, Laxmi Kant Panthi, Shashidhar Khanal, Dhaka Prasad Ghimire and Madhav Prasad Ghimire. Their spouses were also honoured.
On the occasion, Campus Chief Prof Dr Pradeep Bahadur Neupane, and Nepali Department Chief Usha Adhikari lauded the contribution of teachers retired from the campus to the promotion of country's entire educational field, adding that the Department decided to honour them for the same cause.
The campus carrying a distinct history in the area of education was established in 1916 AD. It runs classes up to the Master's degree level under the faculties of Sciences; and Humanities and over 11,000 students are currently enrolled here.
