Educational Testing Service, Teaching of English for International
Communication in Nepal.
Organizing a press meet here in Kathmandu, Ram Chandra Poudel, Managing Director, EPA Nepal, said that ETA is very popular in various countries such as India and Australia. “Here in the country we are going to promote it to enhance communication skills and measure English proficiency in the workforce,” he said.
Further Subash KC, Country Director, EPA Nepal, said that there was difference in academic English and workforce English but people are yet to be told about that. “In TOEIC, we will be testing an individual´s reading, listening, writing and speaking abilities,” adding that though TOEIC has various uses they are solely focused on corporate sector for now.

Friday. “This kind of programs will contribute in empowerment of human
capital and would encourage individuals to perform best into their
engagements and entrepreneurial endeavors,” Ojha further added.
TOEIC test has been approved by more than 14,000 organizations in 150 countries worldwide. It has also been approved for immigration purpose and higher academic pursuits in various countries throughout the world. It is a tool for organizations to determine the communication level in recruitment, promotion and evaluation process.

´Excellence Series Talk´ which is conceptualized to bring leaders
opinion and success stories into knowledge of individuals and
professionals from diverse domains.
The first edition of talk in the topic ´Industrial Relation Excellence´ was organized on Friday.
The talk program will be organized every third Friday of Nepali calendar where different key personalities will be invited as speakers.
