Kathmandu, June 18: The Nepal Students Union (NSU) enraged with the Mid Western University (MSU) decision to take action against its central member, Anil Bahadur Sahi, for seeking reforms in the University education system Sunday padlocked its Liaison Office, Kathmandu.
The NSU delegation reached the University's Maitidevi-based Liaison Office this afternoon, demanding the immediate withdrawal of action against Sahi, who according to the NSU, was punished by the University for seeking education reforms within the University. The seven students' unions including the NSU have launched an agitation, demanding the reform in the University education.
NSU central treasurer Shiva Rimal said the padlocking was also for mounting pressure on the University to address their demands and they were determined to going with the agitation until their voices were addressed. RSS
