Seminar on child security in internet kicks off in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, Sept 2: A-one-day seminar on 'Child Security in Internet' has kicked off in the capital today. 

The Tele-communication Authority and UNICEF jointly organized the seminar aimed at making the children safe while using internet technology. 

The seminar is targeted to the teen agers. It further aims to alert the children regarding the sexual harassment and other misbehaviors that might occur while using internet. 
DIG Amrendra Singh, social campaigner Mahabir Pun and advocate Praveen Suvedi are facilitators for the seminar, who will respond to the questions that arise during the sessions. 
There are 15 different stalls in the seminar premises at City Hall. 

About 2,000 students from different schools in Kathmandu Valley are participating the seminar. RSS
