Portugese volunteers build school building for Chepang children

Chitwan, August 8: Volunteers from Portugal have constructed a building of a school for the children of the Chepang community at Ratnanagar of Chitwan district at their own investment and labour.


They constructed the school building at a cost of around Rs 500,000 within 15 days and handed it over to the school today. They constructed the school building at Gambesi Chepang Conservation Centre, said Centre Chairperson KP Kiran Sharma.


A volunteer said that they constructed the school building with an objective of providing education to the poor children deprived from education.


A total of nine volunteers had constructed the school building. RSS
