The Office of Controller of Examination has decided to allow ninth graders to help visually-impaired School Leaving Certificate examines to write answers this year.

At a press conference organised by the OCE on Sunday, Examination Controller Bishnu Bahadur Dware said the new provision allows ninth graders, instead of eighth graders, to assist visually-impaired SLC examine to write answers.

Visually-impaired SLC examines have long been demanding that the OCE bring a new provision, allowing ninth graders to assist them during exams instead of eighth graders.
