Chakraborty Habi Education Academy College of Nursing Science located at Madhyapur Thimi has opened the admission and enrolling the students in the Proficiency Certificates Level (PCL) Nursing without taking the affiliation from the CTEVT. The institution has already collected a handsome amount of money out of the advance payment of the three years’ course fees from the students. The college has collected some 92 lakhs from the admission of the 37 students.

An official of the account department stated that the college has been taking students for admission according to the interim order by the court and expressed his ignorance about the affiliation matter with CTEVT. On the other hand, CTEVT has been mentioning time and again to not enroll the students in the programs run by CTEVT without getting the affiliation and approval. It has also issued notices that if students get admitted to such istitutions, CTEVT should not be responsible for that. It mentions that the college has been enrolling students by the excuse of the interim order by the court but this time there is no other alternative than the admissions to be annulled.

Member Secretary Pushpa Raman Wagle of CTEVT has said that in the past year, catering to the future of the students and on the basis of the order by the court, CTEVT registered the students that passed out of the college. This time, since the college has shown no any interest in processing the affiliation and ignoring the invitation from CTEVT for the process, the nursing college won’t be excused by any means.
