Norwegian ambassador hands over school building in Rasuwa

Royal Norwegian Ambassador to Nepal Kjell Tormod Pettersen has handed over a retrofitted school building to the district education officer Sukadev Sapkota amid a function today.

Nepal National Lower Secondary School building at Gosainkunda Municipality-5, Thuloshyaphrubesi was repaired and retrofitted through Norwegian support.
Over Rs 3.6 million was invested for the retrofitting of the building. The school building was weakened by the earthquake occurred on May 25, 2015.
While handing over the building, ambassador Pettersen committed to continue such support in the days ahead. He remembered that he had been there once before as well.
Over 80 students were compelled to go to school in other villages after the school building became dilapidated by the quake. RSS
