​NMC decreased enrollment capacity in MBBS and BDS program

Nepal Medical Council (NMC) decreased the enrollment capacity of Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of Nepal. Total enrollment capacity in MBBS program in 2014 was 2246, now the enrollment capacity stoods in 1975, 271 seats less than last year. Similarly 125 seats has been decreased in Dental stream; now total enrollment capacity in Dental colleges is 470; last year it was 595.

Currently 23 Medical and Dental Colleges offers MBBS and BDS program in Nepal. Zero seat is allocated this year for TU affiliated Janaki Medical College and KU affiliated Devdaha Medical College. Last year Devdaha Medical College was allowed to enroll 40 students in MBBS program.
