Kathmandu, May 24 (RSS): Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) has begun the study on what sort of employees would be needed for federal set-up in the country.

The NASC has started studying the 'capacity determination study' for federal, provincial and local levels, executive director at the college Punya Prasad Dhakal said.

The college has selected three to four districts from each province. Morang, Dhankuta, Baglung, Nawalparasi, Chitwan, Kaski, Dang, Banke, Jumla and Dolpa districts were selected for the purpose.

The capacity building training will be imparted adopting the different modality that fits for three levels.

He further shared that the college was imparting training to employees in a single way but in federal set up the modality would be changed.

A group of two experts has been deployed for the study with the completion target by Asadh.

The group will determine the deployment of employees at all three levels after consulting with the central government, Chief Minister of Province, mayor of local levels, chairperson of rural municipality and chief administrative officers, said Education Director for the College Trilochan Pokharel. The group also consults with local people in this regard. "Employees are undergoing different types of training based on the three different levels," said Pokharel.
