Chitwan, Oct 3 (RSS): Minister of State for Education Shesh Nath Adhikari on Tuesday stressed the need for formulating an education policy in line with the international standards, which he said would sort out problems in education sector.
The process towards that end has already started by forming a high-level education commission, he informed while speaking at a programme on leadership development to implement development and skill programme in school sector in Ratnagar, Chitwan today.
Emphasizing the importance of equality education for educational development, he said the government is working to this effect. He has held the government as a responsible authority to end traditional education system, and introduce practical one, while stating that lack of education with time has created increasing unemployment.
On the occasion, Undersecretary at the Education Ministry Mukunda Mani Khanal presented a working paper on the school sector development plan.
Leaders of various political parties like President of the Nepali Congress Ratnagar Rupanraj Ghimire, Rastriya Prajatantra Party's Tikaram Lama also spoke at the event.
