The Ministry of Education (MoE) said its attention has been drawn towards the ongoing protests stated by the stakeholders demanding early establishment of the proposed Far-Western University.
The ministry issued a press release on Wednesday and said the government allocated budget for the university and sent it to the University Grant Commission.
"The MoE urges the stakeholders that it will soon decide on the appointment of the officials to forward the process for the preliminary works regarding the establishment of the university," said the statement.
The ministry lauded the local people's concern for the development of education establishing a university in the Far-West and urged them to help the government in this regard.
