Kathmandu, Jan 23 (RSS): Minister of State for Women, Children and Social Welfare, Kanta Bhattarai has urged the educational institutions to impart vocational and skill-oriented education to the students.

Speaking in an interaction programme organised at Kathmandu Shikshya Campus at local Satungal on Monday, she said the problem of educated unemployed youths could be minimized if the students could be made self-reliant by connecting them with production.

Member of provincial assembly and UML leader, Rama Alemagar insisted that the students should be given sound knowledge both in theoretical as well as practical aspects.
Central member of RPP, Devendra Pradhan suggested providing modern education based on indigenous curriculum as per the need of the country rather than the curriculum made on the basis of international standards.
