Student of KIST Medical College has published a press release urging regulatory bodies Nepal Medical Council and Insitute of Medicine (TU-IOM) to help students by ensuring practical examinations and regular teaching learning activities citing the college administration is indifference to their issues.
KIST Medical College is closed since 20 days due to the strike called by workers union demanding pay raise. After beginning of the strike the final year MBBS and 4th year BDS practical examination has been postponed indefinitely by IOM. The classes of 2nd year MBBS have been called of as well.
In the press release students have said that, they are saddened by the college administrations indifference towards this issue as the students have not received a single notice by the college administration regarding exams and classes.
