Kathmandu University gave affiliation to two New Medical colleges

On the occasion of 66th assembly of Kathmandu University,  Birat Medical College  -Biratnagar and Devdaha Medical College   – Butwal got an affiliation which was discussed in previous 64th assembly held by KU. The team member of “Kathmandu University School of Medical sciences”, have decided to give affiliation to these two new colleges. With these two new affiliations Kathmandu University will have 10 medical colleges  under their association. Kathmandu University has also requested Nepal Medical Council (NMC) to take required actions.

The KUSMS MBBS  program has been divided into three parts: the first two years of study consists of basic medical sciences. These years also include an introduction to clinical sciences. Over the next two and half years, students learn the principles and skills of clinical medicine by rotating through various medical specialties. The final one year consists of internship.

Students who have completed 10+2 years of education or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and not less than 50% of marks in each subjects of Physics, Chemistry and, Biology (PCB are eligible to sit in the entrance of Kathmandu University. 

Applicant  who have to passed KUMET can take admission in these colleges under Kathmandu University.
