Kathmandu University Call for application for Summer Course in Engineering for Community Development

Kathmandu University in Collaboration with Technion-Israel Institute of Technology is conducting an International Summer Course 2013 entitled ‘Engineering for Developing Communities’ under UNESCO UNITWIN Program.

This is a 2.5 ABET course focusing on the theory and field knowledge with the core idea on Bio-Gas, Improved Cooking Stoves, Solar PV, Improved Water Mills, Rain Water Harvesting and Hydraulic Pump.

Eligibility for Application:

  •     Applicant must be a Nepalese citizen and a undergraduate student from Schools/affiliated institution of Kathmandu    University
  •     Students should have an average of at least a CGPA of 3 out of 4

Admission Process

Candidates must drop their application [Download] form at summercourse013@ku.edu.np along with attached copy of 

  •  One letter of recommendation
  •  CV/Resume
  •  Transcripts (original or approved copies)

  *female candidates are given more priority
