Kathmandu, July 14: Representatives from the Human Rights and Peace Society (HURPES) here today drew the attention of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education Gopal Man Shrestha stressing the need to make human education a part of the school level's curriculum.
The team led by Society's President Gangadhar Ahikari demanded with the DPM Shrestha to provide formal and informal education on human education to the students at schools level for promotion of goodwill and fraternity.
Stating that some forces were active to incite hatred and communal violence in the country, the team also brought to the notice of the Ministry of Education towards the financial exploitation that the private boarding schools were making out of the students and their parents.
In response, DPM Shrestha affirmed on his fullest effort to take into account the recommendation furnished by the team. RSS
