Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) said that students who are willing to get admission in grade 11 must secured atleast grade D in each subjects in SLC examination. HSEB is also mulling over introducing the provision of securing atleast C plus in English, Science and Mathematics for students who are willing to enoll in grade 11 Science. C plus is equivalent to 50-60%. According to vice Chairman of HSEB, Chaitanya Sharma, students who are willing to join Grade 11 in Humanities, Education and Management faculty has to secured atleast 1.6 grade point and grade D in all subjects.
For those students who want to study Science and Technical subjects in Grade 11, they have to secure C plus in both practical as well as theory subjects. HSEB will make the public announcement about this provision very soon.
While taking enrollment in the grade 11, students must sit for the entrance examination. The merit list will be calculated by adding 30% of Entrance marks + 70% of grade points.
Mean while Office of the controller of examination is in final phase of publishing the results of SLC exam. The result is likely to publish within first week of Ashad.
