Grade 8 result published in 7 days by Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality

Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality has published the result of Grade 8 in 7 days of the date of examination held. The examination concluded on 18 Chaitra,  result of which was published in 25 Chaitra. Additionally, the mark-sheets were provided to the respective schools on 29 Chaitra.

Before the education administration was handed to the local level government, the answer sheets of the grade 8 used to be corrected by the teachers of the respective schools . The result publication took some 3 months.

The chief of the education division of the Metropolis Prahlad Aryal said that the answer sheets were corrected within 22 Chaitra and the marks were sent to the Examination Committe through online portal. This was possible due to the timely paer correction by the teachers, said Aryal.

This is the first time grade 8 marks have been kept online. Students can check their marks online in the website of KMC by typing in their registration number and birth-date.

18 thousand 7 hundred and 41 students of 557 schools of the KMC had appeared in the grade 8 examination.

Chief of kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality Bidhya Sundar Sagar said that this timely and fast result publication has set an example for the possibility of the speed in the result publication.
