Gareema Bank to run financial literacy in four schools

Beni (Myagdi), May 25: The Gareema Development Bank is set to launch financial literacy campaign in four schools of Myagdi district.


In a bid to make parents financially literate through students and teachers, the Gareema Development Bank is running the campaign in Jayanti Secondary at Beni municipality-3, Bhakimli, Muktimarga Secondary at Annapurna rural municipality, Mangala Sikshya Campus at Mangala rural municipality and Dhanjanata Secondary at Dhawalagiri rural municipality.


The financial literacy drive would be in place up to mid-June, informed Manager at Gareema Bank Beni Branch.
He further shared that the representatives of newly-elected local levels, school management committee and office-bearers of teacher-guardian association would be made the part of literacy drive.
The training would provide them with knowledge and awareness on opening bank account, benefits of savings and financial facilities and services. RSS
