Supreme Court issued an interim order asking the community schools not to collect any form of fee from the students. “To have access over free education till secondary level is the constitutional right hence charging any form of fee is the violation of constitution” said the SC in the verdict.

Issuing the order in the name of Ministry of Education, supreme court had asked the ministry to guarantee the constitutional rights to the students. SC had also asked the Ministry to stop the fees being charged to students by the School Management Committee.

Court had also asked to keep the record of the students who have received free education.
