Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has raided Tribhuvan University (TU), Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and Higher Secondary Educaiton Board (HSEB) today.

CIAA also took under control the documents of CTEVT  and HSEB  of the last five years. 

CIAA has raided all the 13 central offices of Tribhuvan University. CIAA took control of documents from these offices. The Commission said that they swung into action acting on a tip off.

A team of 30 officers lead by D.S.P Rabiraj Khadka took control over the sectors of TU and seized all the documents from past 9 years. 

The anti-graft body raided these institutions after receiving complaints about corruption there. The CIAA further said that the raid was carried out following complaints from various sectors that the officers at those institutions are involved corruption.

The anti-graft constitutional body added said they have seized important documents from the educational authorities during the raid this morning.

CIAA has mobilized 60 employees for conducting raids.
