Chinese language Proficiency Test compulsory from now on-wards

Students willing to pursue higher studies in China have to pass the Chinese language test from now on-wards. Confucius Institute Beijing is responsible for conducting the Chinese language test which is now initiated by the LRI Confucius Institute of Kalanki in Nepal.

Higher studies in USA, Australia and European countries require English Proficiency tests like IELTS and TOEFL for Nepali students. Similarly, China will now require the Chinese language proficiency of the students who go there for higher studies.

Chinese language test is called as Hànyu Shuipíng Kaoshì  HSK test. This is the only standard Chinese Language proficiency test of China. The HSK test will be compulsory and conducted through online testing method. According to the manager of the test Prabin Maharjan, the result of the test will be announced within 15 days of the test date.

Nepali students studying in various fields such as Engineering, Medicine, Nursing and so on have been facing problems due to the language. HSK test is compulsory from now onwars which might seem a hindrance at first but it will make the learning process and college life in China much easier for students.
