Visiting President of Athabasca University, Dr Frits Pannekoek, has said that Open University should remove the barriers in learning for the benefit of everyone, including people from different geographical locations and jobs.
Speaking at a seminar organized by the Open university of Nepal initiative (OUNI), pannekoek, also the president of the International Council for Open and Distance Education, opined, “ Capacity building of the student is key while we talk of quality assurance”.
He also assured of technical and academic support to Open University of Nepal Initative.
“However, the Ministry of Education should legalize the university and resources,” Pannekoek said.
