Books not reached in Dolakha

Dunai, Dolpa, Falgun 13: Even though it has been two weeks since the start of the new academic session in Dolpa, books have not yet reached in the hands of the students. District Education Office Dolpa has informed that seven Local Agents who have collected books from Sajha Publication and other private regions have not been able to distribute the books in the schools.

According to a local agent, LankaBahadur Rokaya, the books will first reach Kalika and Narku of Mudkechula Rural Municipality and then will be distributed. BishnuLal Budha who has taken responsibility for Dunai and Phoksundo said that he had taken the books to Dunai. Another local retailer Purnaprasad Neupane said that the book will be distributed from today.

District Education Officer, Simharaj Dangale, said that no information has been provided from the seven different local agents about the books distributed to students but the office has been working continuously on this.

The local agent should transport 9,791 sets of books for the academic session 075 in Dolpa District. Janak Educational Materials Regional Head, Ravindra Sharma said that the responsibility for the books to be distributed to the students from Classes 1 to 10 of Dolpa District, is taken by Janak Educational Material and Private Sector.

The responsibility for distributions of the books from classes 1 to 5 and from classes 6 to 10 has been taken by Private Sector and Janak Educational Materials respectively. In Dolpa District, this year, from classes 1 to 5 6,146 sets of books, from classes 6 to 8 2,216 sets of books and from classes 9 to 10 1,429 sets of books with a whole total of 9,791 sets of books has to be distributed to the schools.
