Australia okays TOEFL for students`

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) of Australia on Friday said students from around the world who choose Australia as their educational destination can use their TOEFL test scores for visa applications.

In a statement by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ETS’s Global Division, David Hunt, said this announcement would mean that students from around the globe can now use TOEFL scores when applying for both visa and academic admission. The statement added that the announcement will have a significant meaning to students of Nepal, India, China and Turkey, among other countries.
