Asian Medical Students' Association Conference to be held in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, Jan 16 (RSS): The International Conference of the Asian Medical Students' Association is taking place in Kathmandu from January 21. 

In a press meet organized here today, AMSA-Nepal chair Dr Santosh Upadhyay shared that the medical students from 16 Asian countries including Nepal, India, Japan, Thailand and Singapore will attend the conference. 

Dr Upadhyya added the theme for the conference has been set 'Maternity and Neo Natal Health'. 

The conference will be fruitful for exchanging the experiences and views regarding the issues to cope with the problems surfaced in medical sector in the various countries. 
On the occasion, different eight working papers prepared by the medical students will be discussed. 

The Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA) International is an apex body of medical students from across the Asia, Asia-Pacific and beyond. 
Trainee doctors from various nations come to share knowledge, undertake activities and social services and create international and trans-continental friendships twice in a year.
