66 years old community school of Okhaldhunga preparing for being the model school

Baruneshor Secondary school of Rampur Rural Municipality of Okhaldhunga district is 66 years old school of the district. The school has been in the praparation of being the model community school of not only the district but also the province.
The school has already received the best community school awarded by the Mnistry of Education annually in the consecutive years of 2072 and 2073. The school has also level received the best school in the community in te province 1 in 2074.
Principal of the school expressed his happiness for the hatrick victory if the school. He stated that the school has now the challenge of proving itself as a model school.
The school had obtained 98% result in the SEE of 2072 and cent percent result in the years 2073 and 2074. The earthquake of 2072 damaged the school building and it is now under the process of reconstruction.
After the reconstruction the school will further progress ahed in the process of making the school accomplish in its goal. The school has also prepared the masterplan for the model school preparations. School administration and the parents are working on it.
Asian Development Bank is helping the school for the reconstruction work. ADB is providing the aid for making the 24 roomed school buildin8, 6 child friendly bathrooms and 50 students capacity hostel. ADB has provided a donation worth 8 crores for the work of the first session and on completion will be providing the next 8 crores in the coming fiscal year.The school was established in the year 2008 B.S. whereas it had got the approval to start the SEE from the year 2025 B.S. only.
In the grade 11 and grade 12, course of Science, Management, Education and Humanities are run. There are 6 students with hearing inability studying under the special classes. The school administration is preparing for launching the Civil Engineering program in the near future. The school also has multimedia sources. In the absence of teachers, students learn by conducting the virtual classes themselves.
Currently, there are 25 government appointed teachers and 2 teachers, a librarian and a guard are kep from the private resouces. There are a total of 7 hundred and 92 students fro grade 1 to 12, 6 in the special classes and 43 in the child development classes.
