Admissions open for A level at Kathmandu University High School
Kathmandu University High School (KUHS) is offering is offering a Science based A Level course for SEE (Class 10) Passed students. The A Levels from Cambridge International Examinations form, a rigorous pre-university course studied over two years. The examinations are offered twice a year i.e. in May and November, and are taken by students all over the world. Thus the students joining KUHS in 2017, will take the A Level examinations in the May session in 2019.
Subjects Offered: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, General Paper and English Language AS Level. All students take Mathematics and General Paper, or English Language AS Level. Students study five subjects. There are therefore two options available:

There is a formal day 2 assembly in school and on Wednesday Hostel Pastoral Duty
The senior students in KUHS [Class 11(A1) and Class 12(A2)] are looked upon as the leaders in the school, and are expected to take part in school activities, sport and social service. The 16-18 year old student is not just a person who studies all day long, but must also be tested in various ways outside the classroom. During these important two years, the student should develop more confidence, self- reliance and independence, and be able to function well as part of a group, as well as enhancing language and communication skills. Students also develop leadership skills by joining the student clubs occupying various official posts.
Completing your application:
You will need the following documents.
a.SEE (Class 10) preparation examination results.
- Academic Transcripts of class 10.
- Transfer Certificate for class 10.
- Completed KUHS application form.
Entrance Test:
The entrance test will be held at Kathmandu University, School of Management (KUSOM), Balkumari.
Students sit papers in Mathematics, Science and English.
