Pokhara University Scholarship and Student Assistantship Program

Scholarships Program
Pokhara University provides scholarship to 5 percent of approved quota of students in affiliated Colleges and 20 percent in constituent schools to make the higher education imparted by it accessible to the underprivileged section of the society. The applicant for scholarship program should pass S.L.C. from the government school and pass the Scholarship Selection Examination conducted by the university.
 
Student Assistantship Program
Student assistantship programs such as part time employment in clerical works, library works, gardening, transportation, laboratory works and teaching in junior classes will be launched to provide the financial support to the financially weak students. The first priority will be given to the scholarship students for student assistantship program.

  1. Open Scholarship
  2. Lekhanatha Scholarship
  3. Dalit Scholarship
  4. Indigenous Scholarship
  5. Rural Scholarship
  6. Other scholarships
 
Scholarships is available to study following programs:

Scholarships form is available at: Pokhara University, Central Office, Scholarships divison. Lekhanath or Contact office Siphal Kathmandu or Alpine Management College, Bagiya Nepalgunj, Banke and National Academy of Science and Technology, Dhangadi.

Form fee:

  1. Rs: 600: For Science and Technology program
  2. Rs: 400 for Management, Humanities and Social Sciences

Form Distribution: 2069/05/17

For Management, Humanities and Social Sciences Program

Admit card distribution

  1. For Science and Technology program: 2069/06/11 and 12
  2. For Management, Humanities and Social Sciences Program: 2069/07/18 and 19

Examination date:

  1. For Science and Technology program: 2069/06/13: 11 am
  2. For Management, Humanities and Social Sciences program: 2069/07/20, 11 am.

Type of Examination: Objective

Time for written Examination: 3 hours
