Mexican Scholarships 2016 for Higher Education Professionals, Artists and Media Collaborators from Nepal



Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) has made available scholarships for Nepali researchers, educators, artists and media professionals to carry out academic and creative activities under the following six categories, in relevant Mexican institutions.



1. Visiting Professor
(for Nepali academicians to give lectures, courses, workshops, seminars in Mexican academic institutions. Length of stay: 1-6 months)

2. High Level Conference
(for Nepali higher education experts to organize high level conference in Mexican institutions). Length of stay: 5 days - 1 month)

3. Genaro Estrada Grants for Specialists in Mexican topics
(for Nepali specialists in Mexican topics to carry out research in Mexican institutions. Length of stay: 1-12 months)

4. Fine Arts Fellowship
(for Nepali artists to carry our creative projects in Mexico. Length of stay: 5 days - 1 month)

5. Fellowships for Medica Collaborators
(for Nepali media professionals to obtain specific knowledge about Mexico. Length of stay: 5 days - 1 month)

6. Mexican Higher Education Quality Improvement Activity
(for Nepali education specialist and administrators to organize course, workshop and to exchange experiences and best practices with Mexican counterparts. Length of stay: 5 days - 1 month)

Scholarship includes: Travel cost and a monthly stipend of approximately 627 USD (except for high level conferences)



Application Deadline: September 9, 2016 (24 Bhadra 2073)



Application steps:
1. Contact any relevant Mexican institution and obtain invitation
2. Submit application for scholarship online ( https://sigca.sre.gob.mx/login )
3. Submit relevant documents to the University Grants Commission, Sanothimi, by 2:00 PM, September 9, 2016 (24 Bhadra 2073)
