M.Sc. HPM is a course-based program to decorate healthcare managers and administrators with knowledge, skill, and competency to prepare them for leadership positions in the healthcare system. It is a multidisciplinary study of social factors, financing systems, organizational structures and processes, health technologies (data analytics, security), and personal behaviors that affect access to health care, the quality and cost of health care, and ultimately our health and well-being. They will acquire knowledge and skills to formulate governmental and organizational policies designed to improve population health and the patient experience of care and reduce the per capita cost of healthcare.

The program is designed for people interested in pursuing a career in diverse areas of policy development and health system management, leadership, and administration, including public health programs, hospitals and care facilities, federal and provincial health departments, and other health- and wellness-related organizations.
