ABOUT
Tikapur Multiple Campus (TMC) is an educational institution established in 2058 B.S. and is one of the constituent campuses of Far-West University, governed and managed by the rules and regulations of the university, while also having affiliation with National Education Board (NEB). However, in the earlier years of it's establishment, it was running TU programs under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University. Thus, in the year 2075 B.S., it formally amalgamated with Far-West University as a constituent campus, offering FWU programs.
The college is situated in the superbly beautiful city of Tikapur in Kailali District. Tikapur Multiple Campus is a non-profit public institution established with a commitment to making higher education accessible to those who are cut-off from it because of one reason or another. It is one of the QAA certified leading campuses of Nepal and has been selected as second position in Higher Education Reform Project (HERP) from the national competition in 2016.
It has shouldered the responsibility for the promotion of student's best abilities and helping them to achieve their fullest potential as per the social expectations and demands of the competitive world with its highly, qualified, experienced and energetic lecturers and staffs.
Tikapur Multiple Campus wouldn't come to this form without the will and endeavor of the people of Tikapur and surrounding regions. Tikapur Multiple Campus is actually, a result of the cohesiveness of purpose consensus of opinion, single mindedness in the pursuit of the objectives of the people of this region.
The campus also owes a lot to its mother institute Tikapur Development Committee which not only helped for the construction of TMC's current building but also provided 380 bighas (25,73,588 sq.m) of land to it for the use of educational purpose in future.
TMC at present is a leading institute for this region. And its board concept, with the future plan of our community is to make this city as an educational city.
Tikapur Multiple Campus has been offering different programs in different shifts. At present, TMC is offering Bachelor Level in Management, Humanities, Education, and Science and one year B.Ed., Master Degree in education specializing in four subjects viz. Health, Nepali, English and Curriculum & Evaluation, Master Degree in Management (MBS) and Master's degree in Rural Development. The Campus has proposed for Bachelors program in Agriculture.
