Thapathali Campus has brick Laying, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Auto mobile, Basic Machine, Fabrication, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Materials(Soil), Hydraulics, Water Supply, Surveying, Mechanics and Computer laboratories.
Hostel
The hostel of Thapathali Campus accommodates 69 students, who come from outside Kathmandu and study in the campus.
Sport Facilities
Sport facilities at Thapathali Campus includes a volleyball court, a table-tennis hall and a badminton court.
Admission Guidelines
In each academic year Institute of Engineering (IOE) conducts entrance examination; only those candidate who pass the entrance examination are deemed eligible for the admission. These eligible candidates can get admitted to any of the constituent and affiliated colleges according to the admission process followed by corresponding college. The admission process practiced by the constituent colleges is the same.
Each year IOE publishes a help book along with the announcement of entrance examination of that year. This book contains all the required information for an interested candidate to appear in the exam an finally get admitted to any of the constituent or affiliated colleges. This book also contains the current intake capacity of each of the colleges.

Today Thapathali Campus Stands as a pioneer institute for Bachelor Level of Engineering Degrees. Bachelor Level Degrees run for 4 years, under completion of which you will be honored as an Engineer. In Bachelor level, Thapathali Campus is offering BE Civil Engineering (96 Seats), BE Electronics, Communication & Information Engineering (48 Seats), BE Mechanical Engineering (48 Seats) Automobile Engineering, BE Industrial Engineering (48 Seats), BE Computer Engineering and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program. Thapathali Campus is the only campus in Nepal that offers Automobile Engineering and Industrial Engineering.
