Admission Guidelines

BSc Agriculture at Paklihawa Campus offers a total of 52 seats and Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry offers a total of 38 seats for students admission. 

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

For meritorious undergraduate students in Paklihawa Campus, 25% of the student gets a scholarship of Rs. 200 per month up to a maximum of 10 months. Paklihawa Campus offers B.Sc Ag and B.V.Sc and A.H program.

ABOUT US

Paklihawa Campus was established in Rupandehi district only 4 km southwest of Bhairahheadquartersarter of the district. It represents a very significant ecological region of Nepal. The campus has a moderate level of facilities to carry out undergraduate teaching, and farm research in agricultural sciences. Paklihawa Campus is presently the only government institution in province No.5 that provides higher technical education in agriculture and veterinary.

The campus is spread over an area of 31 hectares. The area occupied by Research and farm area is about 19 Ha(vegetable farm, agronomy farm, research field livestock farm, pasture land, ornamental nurseries, orchard). Administration and residential buildings occupy an area of 12 Ha. There are 95 buildings including administration, classrooms, laboratories, hostels, staff, quarters, guest houses, and livestock buildings. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Our major physical resources/ properties include a veterinary teaching hospital, laboratories, Farms, seminar hall, class buildings, hostels, bus, and veterinary ambulance.
The campus has a collection and sale center of horticultural crops grown on college farms under project work and practicals by students of different semesters.

Mission

  • The mission of the institute is to promote agricultural science and to train manpower for agricultural development focusing on teaching,   research, and extension.

  • producing skilled manpower in the field of agriculture and veterinary.

At present, the campus offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Agriculture  (B.Sc.Ag.) program and a five-year Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.Vsc & A.H) program.
