Navodit Vidya Kunja College is located at Samakhushi in Kathmandu, established in the year 1993 A.D. It is an English and Nepali medium co-educational college. It has been regulated under the team of trained academicians, professors, distinguished educators, social workers and entrepreneurs with sole objective of providing world class education.

It focuses it students to be able to develop their creativity and individuality through curricular and extracurricular activities. With its proven years of excellence, it has been able to stand its position as the best college in the educational sector of Kathmandu Valley.

The college has become the center of learning for quality education. It offers +2 programs since its affiliation with HSEB in 2057 in Science, Management, Humanities and Education. The college offers Bachelor program in BBS, BA and MBS in affiliation with Tribhuvan University in 2067.

Navodit Vidya Kunja College holds secular and democratic values. The college vows to shape students as the need of new millennium providing them quality education. Admission Guidelines

Applications for admission will be called form the eligible students. Selection will be based an entrance score, percentage and interview.

ELIGIBILITY

For +2 Science Programs:

Students to enroll in grade 11 Science Subject Group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Agriculture) must score

GPA: 2.0
C+ in Science and Math
D+ English, Nepali and Social Studies

For +2 Management Programs:

Students to enroll in grade 11 and study following subjects (Mathematics/Accountancy/Economics/Computer Science/Teaching Mathematics/Elements of Finance/Jyotish/Business Mathematics/Cooperative Management, Business Studies/Geography/Psychology) must score

GPA: 1.6
D+ English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies

For +2 Humanities Programs:

Students must have completed SEE or equivalent with a minimum GPA 1.6. He/She should have minimum D+ in English, Nepali and Social Studies.

For +2 Education Programs:

Students must have completed SEE or equivalent with a minimum GPA 1.6. He/She should have minimum D+ in English, Nepali, Social Studies and EPH.

For BBS Programs:

The candidate applying for admission to the BBS programme of Tribhuvan University:

must have successfully completed the PCL or 10+2 in business/commerce or an equivalent course from a Higher Secondary School Board, or from Tribhuvan University, or from any other University/Board recognized by TU.
Must have scored at least D Plus (D+) in each subjects in 10+2

For BA Programs:

Students should have secured at least D+ in all subjects in Grade 11 and Grade 12. OR

Must have completed the intermediate, Proficiency Certificate or 10+2 level, in Humanities or Science or Management Stream from Tribhuvan University or from any other University or Board recognized by Tribhuvan University.
Students desirous of studying Major English/Economics in the BA Program may do so, but are required to pass the Major English Subject within three years at +2 or PCL recognized by TU if they have not already studied this course at +2 or PCL Level
Students who have studied any other subject at +2 or PCL level can apply for admission to Major subjects like Rural Development, Social Work and Sociology in the BA Program.
Students desirous of studying Journalism and Mass Communication as a Major subject in BA program must have studied Journalism/Mass Communication at +2 or PCL can apply for Journalism subject.

For MBS Programs:

II. Eligibility Condition for Admission for MBS program

The student applying for admission to to MBS course must have successfully completed the BBS programme or a bachelor degree on any discipline from Tribhuvan University or from any other university recognized by Tribhuvan University

III. Admission Test

The Faculty of Management (FOM) shall conduct a Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) for the MBS level. Students eligible for MBS programme must sit in the CMT in order to qualify to apply for admission to the campuses offering the MBS programme. The FOM shall issue a score-sheet to each student appearing in the CMAT. The test carries a full marks of 100 and it must be completed within 90 minutes.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Navodit provides scholarship programs considering academic excellence and performance. The college offers scholarship to the distinction holders, martyr's son and daughter of public movement in 2062, District topper, school topper, Remote areas students, Dalit scheduled caste and other deserving and challenging students.
