Namuna College of Fashion Technology (NCFT) is Nepal’s first Fashion College and the initiator/pioneer of academic education in Fashion in the country. The college was established in 2002 by Mrs. Gyani Shova Tuladhar, one of the nation’s most celebrated fashion designers and a name synonymous with fashion in Nepal.

Admission Guidelines
ELIGIBILITY
A student must have successfully cleared his/her + 2 or equivalent exams under any faculty/stream from any college/university/board recognized by Purbanchal University, Nepal. Students who have are waiting for their results of the Plus 2 exam can also apply in a provisional basis. Previous training in fashion designing is not necessary for admission.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Students seeking admission into our BFDM program are required to fill up and submit the Admission Form (along with 2 PP size photos) to the college. The student must pass an Entrance Exam conducted by the college to be eligible to appear in a Personal Interview for further screening. Final approval of admission will be based on the candidate's previous academic performances along with the performances in the college's Entrance Exam and Personal Interview.
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Namuna College offers scholarships under Merit and Reservation categories based on Purbanchal University's Scholarship Exam.

ABOUT US
Namuna College of Fashion Technology introduced Nepal's first ever Bachelors course in Fashion through our Bachelor of Fashion Design (BFD) program of 3 years (6 Semesters) in 2002 in affiliation with Purbanchal University, Nepal. In 2016, NCFT introduced Nepal’s first Bachelors course in Fashion of 4 years (8 semesters) through its Bachelor of Fashion Design and Management (BFDM) program, also in affiliation with Purbanchal University. The efforts of NCFT to provide the best academic experience to students, complemented by an exceptional curriculum, outstanding team of faculty members, incisive teaching learning methodology, excellent infrastructure and mutual relationships with foreign design institutions, is well recognized among stakeholders of fashion.
Nearly 300 students have graduated from NCFT and their success as entrepreneurs, leaders, brand owners, and career professionals in fashion has contributed to further consolidate the status of NCFT as the veritable pioneer and the pre-eminent name in fashion education in the country.
Vision
The college envisions providing fashion education to higher secondary (2) and Masters levels in the future and we also see ourselves to become a fashion resource and information center for students, teachers and all other stakeholders of the fashion industry.

To maintain ourselves as the pioneer design college by continually providing our students with updated real-world knowledge, skills and values in the field of fashion technology in an advanced teaching environment supplemented by appropriate infrastructure, highly experienced instructors and mutual relationships with foreign design institutions.
