ABOUT US

Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences (NAIHS) is a service oriented non-profit making institution which is running a medical college, nursing college, and has a plan to run medical polytechnic school and a dental college. NAIHS will produce quality medical manpower not only for army but for the nation as a whole at an affordable cost. Medical training is extremely expensive making it un-affordable to most Nepalese. NAIHS will provide affordable opportunities of medical and health science education to deserving candidates among serving army personnel, sibling and spouse of serving and ex- army personnel.

Total number of Seats and Provisions for Scholarships for MBBS Program

Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences (NAIHS) College of Medicine is currently running Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery (MBBS) program under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University. The intake of students in MBBS Program is 100 (one hundred) only.

The intake of students in the MBBS program is solely based on the merit list of the entrance examination conducted by Institute of Medicine.

Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences (NAIHS) College of Medicine allocates ten seats for candidates nominated by the Ministry of Education. A few scholarship seats are available for eligible individuals, the eligibility criteria for which have been laid down by NAIHS. Tribhuvan University.
