The students who choose Social Work and Rural Development will earn the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) after completing the course. This course demands students with versatile activeness and creativity from any background. This is a special course the college has been offering. The course includes 250 hours of field placement each year, a one-week rural camp in the first year, a two-week urban or rural camp in the second and third years. The course also requires field and case studies each year. After the completion of the course, the students will turn into professional social workers and will be capable of offering their service to various social sectors locally, nationally, and internationally.
