ABOUT

Established in August 1993 as a premier management development institute under Kathmandu University, Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) pioneered high quality and market responsive Graduate Management programs (MBA, EMBA and MSM) that are widely recognized as a passport to successful professional management career. It has produced over 650 high quality management graduates who are managing leading organizations across all sectors - with passion and professionalism.

KUSOM also pioneered Undergraduate Management programs (BBA, BBIS and BHTM) through partnership with the private sector management development providers.KUSOM initiated Post Graduate Diploma in Security Management (PGDSM), first ever such program in the South Asia, to meet the need of highly trained security managers for better security environment in industry, business and development sectors. KUSOM has recently launched Diploma in Management (DipM) leading to Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which is practice-oriented and industry- relevant management education program.

The university has also been offering Research degree program in Master in Philosophy (MPhilM) in Management and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management programs.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

KUSOM Scholarship for MBA

This scholarship is provided to one MBA student out of a group of 24 students. It is available at the time of admission upon submission of the Financial Aid Form supported by necessary documents. The Schools Admission and Examination Committee, after examining the documents and interviewing the applicants decides to award the scholarship on need basis.

The student receiving this scholarship must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.3 in the subsequent terms to qualify for its continuation. This scholarship involves full or partial waiver in tuition and other fees.

Juddha Bahadur Scholarship:

This scholarship is paid out of the interest earned from the fund donated by Mr Juddha Bahadur Shrestha. One or more students receive this scholarship that involves full or partial waiver of tuition and other fees depending on the availability of money every year. The proceeding that is followed is same as in case of KU Scholarship.
