Kantipur Engineering College (KEC), which is run effectively by qualified faculty and administration, is situated in Dhapakhel, Lalitpur. Kantipur Engineering College (KEC), founded in 1998 with the primary goal of developing an ideal platform for engineering education in Nepal, stands out with well-equipped and cutting-edge facilities within its own lush green expansive complex. KEC is affiliated with Tribhuvan University. In the fields of civil, computer, and electronics & communication engineering, KEC has so far graduated 36 batches of engineers. The majority of KEC alumni are doing well both domestically and abroad.

Kantipur Engineering College (KEC) is committed to meet every challenge for providing exemplary education in several disciplines of engineering. Presently, KEC is conducting BE programs in Civil (96 Seats), Computer (96 Seats) and Electronics, Communication & Information Engineering (96 Seats) under the guidelines of the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Tribhuvan University. The college is fully aware and committed to the development of further engineering programs in future. Programs for running B.E. in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor in Architecture are in pipeline.

Admission Guidelines

Eligibility

Students who want to attend KEC must

succeed in the entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Engineering (IOE).
have a minimum grade of "C" in all of their Class 11 and 12 courses or a score of 45 % on the Diploma or an equivalent.

IOE administers entrance exams that are computer-based in the subjects of Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Engineering aptitude. The entire test consists of objectives, and it lasts for two hours in a single sitting.

Students are accepted by KEC in accordance with the merit list IOE publishes based on the outcomes of the entrance test.
