With the rising needs and demands from guardians and well-wishers, as well as the school's desire, this college founded a new sect named Himalaya English Boarding School in 2045 B.S. Since 2056 B.S., the school has expanded its educational offerings to Secondary Level (10+2) in Management, Humanities, Education, and Law streams in response to the expanding requests of esteemed guardians, well-wishers, and the school's interest. The college's exquisite efforts to reach the goal of academic excellence have been supported and compelled by the distinction results of students at the Higher Secondary Level.

After the success of students of Himalaya College in Plus Two, Himalayan College started Bachelors in Business Studies (B.B.S), Bachelors in Arts (B.A), and Bachelors' in Social Work (B.S.W) programs in affiliation with Tribhuvan University (TU) since 2064 BS.

With the establishment of a sound educational foundation, demands, and support from students, the College has launched Masters in Business Studies (MBS) Program under Tribhuvan University on the same platform as Himalaya College from 2071 B.S.

Teaching methodology

Teaching is based on lectures, seminars, and personal tutorials. In the seminar, small groups of students evaluate case studies or discuss in detail the material covered in lectures. Personal tutorial sessions allow students to discuss any aspect of the course one-to-one with their tutor. Teaching takes place in a fully-equipped lecture room with the required support systems. As part of its teaching support, the college uses multiple projectors.

Admission Guidelines

For BA/BSW/BBS

Any candidates who have completed 10+ 2 or equivalent securing minimum D+ grade in all subjects of Grade 11 and 12 are eligible for admission in BA / BSW & BBS programs of Tribhuvan University.

For MBS

Candidate should complete BBS programme or a bachelor degree on any discipline from Tribhuvan University or from any other university recognized by Tribhuvan University.

Admission Test

The Faculty of Management (FOM) shall conduct a Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) for the MBS level for the admission in the college.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Students who rank the first, Second and Third in the final examination are entitled full and partial scholarship. Scholarship is also provided to financially and underprivileged student on merits basis every year.
